Dear family and friends, I hope everyone is doing great!
I'm excited to share with all of you the release of my album Venezuela En Blanco Y Negro. This album is full of nostalgia because aside from being a tribute to some of the greatest pianists and composers of Venezuelan classical music, it is a project that has allowed me to travel back in time and reconnect with my musical roots.
Each song in this album has a special meaning to me. In fact, three of these songs were the ones I auditioned with to get a scholarship to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music almost 20 years ago. Many things have happened since then—many incredible experiences and valuable life lessons I will share with you through music.
I hope you all enjoy it and share it with your loved ones.
Thank you very much!
Marco
"Natalia," also known as Vals Venezolano No. 3, is a waltz composed by Antonio Lauro. Initially written for classical guitar and later adapted for piano, this is undoubtedly one of the most iconic pieces in the Venezuelan classical music repertory. Therefore, it is a true honor to perform it for you!
"Luisa Elena" is an original composition written to honor the memory of my beloved piano professor, Maestra Luisa Elena Paesano. Aside from being one of the most influential people in my life, Luisa Elena was an acclaimed Venezuelan pianist and composer who wrote more than 400 pieces during her lifetime. Her most famous composition was "El Trancao," which achieved international recognition.
"Graziella" is one of my favorite pieces from the Venezuelan classical piano repertoire. It was written by the great composer and pianist from the XIX century Ramón Delgado Palacios. Although little is know about this song, it is said inspired by his daughter who passed away at an early age. With all due respect and admiration, it is my honor to perform this for all of you.

In 2021, I had the honor to be one of the arrangers for Olé México - GNP, an amazing music production by world-class Mexican conductor Alondra De La Parra and Mexican TV celebrity and songwriter Mane De La Parra.
I was blessed with the opportunity to create the orchestral arrangements for “Adoro” (Armando Manzanero), “No” (Armando Manzanero) and “Hasta Que Te Conocí” (Juan Gabriel), featuring the incredible voices of Buika, Pitingo and Lila Downs alongside the marvelous Orquesta Minería.
In 2022, my arrangement of “Adoro” was nominated for a Latin Grammy in the category Best Arrangement.
